The following is an excerpt from:B9 $2.00 THE GULF WAR-GEORGE BUSH-THE NEW WORLD ORDER-AND THE VISION OF THE UNITED NATIONS THE GULF WAR GEORGE BUSH THE NEW WORLD ORDER AND THE VISION OF THE UNITED NATIONS" FOUNDERS On January 28,1991, in a speech to the National Religious Broadcasters, President George Bush made the following statement:
According to President Bush, the war in the Persian Gulf which is raging as this booklet is being written, will result in a world peace that will usher in the New World Order. It is sheer folly to think that man can bring lasting peace to this earth apart from Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us plainly what causes war; the sinful fallen nature of man.
Until mankind is regenerated by faith in Jesus Christ, there is not a shred of a chance to eliminate war and bring lasting peace. God does have a plan for world peace, and it will be put into effect and established when Jesus returns to the earth. God's world peace plan was prophesied by Isaiah the prophet.
The Bible speaks of two programs for world peace; one is the work of Jesus Christ and the other is the work of the Antichrist. If you are supporting a program for world peace that does not include Jesus Christ, you are not serving Jesus, but his ultimate counterfeit, the anti-Christ. If you are praying for a program of world peace that does not have Jesus Christ as its head, what you are doing in reality is praying for the Kingdom of the anti-Christ to come. Before you take part in the many prayer groups that are praying for world peace, you need to find out if they are praying for Program #1 Jesus Christ or Program #2 anti-Christ. Program #1 is the only one worthy of our prayers. When we pray for world peace, the way God wants us to pray, we pray as Jesus instructed us to pray in the Lord's prayer:
This will happen when Jesus returns from the right hand of God to set up his Kingdom and not until. Until the time of Jesus return it is God's will for the people of the earth to be divided into nations.
To even attempt to set up a world government and world peace without Jesus as the head is illogical and rebellion against God. Evil rulers have tried to do this ever since the tower of Babel. The Bible tells us that the there will be an attempt to establish world government without Jesus as the head, and it also tells us that this plan will succeed. The Bible also tells us in words too plain to misunderstand that this peace plan will not end in a dream come true, but in the most horrible nightmare than anyone could imagine.
This truth could never be emphasized strongly enough: Any attempt to establish a New World Order without Jesus Christ as head will eventually result in the mark of the Beast and the reign of the anti-Christ ! The New World Order that is now being planned, cannot have Jesus Christ as its head because it accepts all men on equal footing no matter what religion they claim. The Christian that maintains Jesus Christ as the only way of salvation, will not be able to be a part of this New World Order. And if we profess Jesus in truth, that is how we must profess him.
Many good men and women are laboring with good intentions to bring in the New World Order, but their good intentions won't matter much when the anti-Christ comes to power. Whether he realizes it or not, George Bush is laying the foundation that will one day result in the reign of the anti-Christ. We need to pray for our President; that he will realize the awful trap that he is leading America into. In the first quote at the beginning of this booklet, President Bush said war in the Gulf would result in a peace that would bring in the New World Order. This is frightening indeed when we read what the Bible has to say about the last days.
The Bible tells us sudden destruction in the end of time will be preceded by a false message of peace. This false message will be a peace plan that leaves Jesus out. Even many ministers are falling for this false message. The statement we have quoted by George Bush, was made at the meeting of the National Religious Broadcasters with some of the most famous ministers in America present, and his statement was greeted with applause, as if they agreed with President Bush's peace plan. Those who proclaim God's word correctly will not proclaim a false message of peace as is revealed in the next Scripture
God's ministers should proclaim the true peace that can only come when all have proclaimed Jesus as Lord and the only way of salvation. This will not happen until Jesus returns from heaven, at which time he will bring judgment on those who have rejected him for other ways of salvation.
President Bush made this statement on Jan. 16,1991 a few hours after the United States began bombing Iraq: This is an Historic Moment. We have in this past year made great progress in ending the long era of conflict and cold war. We have before us the opportunity to forge for ourselves and for future generations a New World Order. A world where the rule of law, not the law of the jungle, governs the conduct of nations. When we are successful, and we will be, we have a real chance at this New World Order; an order in which a credible United Nations can use its peace-keeping role to fulfill the promise and vision of the U.N.'s founders.
