7. THE GOOD NEWS

(John 14:27 KJV) Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

8.John 16:33 KJV) These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

9. THE NEW COMMANDMENT

(John 13:34-35 KJV) A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. {35} By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

It was "new" because Jesus not only told us that we should love, but he showed us HOW to love.

(Romans 12:18 KJV) If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

"Love" does NOT mean we have to accept abuse

12. OUR NEED FOR UNDERSTANDING

(Romans 3:10-12 KJV) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: {11} There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. {12} They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

13. THE FRIENDSHIP COMMITTMENT

(1 Thessalonians 2:8 KJV) So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us.

14. THE SWINGING DOOR OF FRIENDSHIP

(Proverbs 18:24 KJV) A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

15. BREAKING THE HANDSHAKE BARRIER

(1 Peter 1:22 NIV) Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart.

19. TAKING THE LOVE PLUNGE

(1 John 4:18 KJV) There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

20. LOVE IS A DECISION

(Matthew 7:12-14 NIV) So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. {13} "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. {14} But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Decide that by the Lord’s help you will go through the narrow gate.

21. THE MECHANICS OF LOVE

(Philippians 4:11-13 NIV) I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. {12} I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. {13} I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
