THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS

1.

(Isaiah 2:10-22 KJV) Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty. {11} The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. {12} For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low: {13} And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan, {14} And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up, {15} And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall, {16} And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures. {17} And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. {18} And the idols he shall utterly abolish. {19} And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth. {20} In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats; {21} To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth. {22} Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?

THE DAY OF THE LORD DEFINED:

THE DAY OF THE LORD IS THAT GREAT DAY THAT WILL BEGIN WITH THE SOUNDING OF THE SEVENTH AND LAST TRUMPET AND THE PHYSICAL AND VISIBLE RETURN OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.

(Acts 1:9-11 KJV) And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. {10} And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; {11} Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

> JESUS WILL RETURN THE SAME WAY THAT HE WENT AWAY (PHYSICALLY AND VISIBLY) TO;

CATCH UP THE CHURCH

GIVE THE CHRISTIANS THEIR GLORIFIED BODIES

RESURRECT THE DEAD

DESTROY THE WICKED AT THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON

JUDGE THE WORLD IN RIGHTEOUSNESS

MELT THIS PRESENT HEAVENS AND EARTH

AND ESTABLISH ETERNITY IN A NEW HEAVENS

AND A NEW EARTH AND A NEW JERUSALEM.

2.

(Genesis 8:22 KJV) While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

> GOD PROMISED NOAH THAT AS LONG AS THE EARTH REMAINED THERE WOULD BE TIME AND SEASONS.

3.

(Revelation 10:5-7 KJV) And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, {6} And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: {7} But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

A.> WE WILL SEE THAT TIME WILL COME TO AN END WITH THE SOUNDING OF THE SEVENTH TRUMPET BECAUSE GOD IS GOING TO DO A MIRACLE IN THE SUN, MOON, AND STARS THAT WE USE TO MEASURE TIME AS WE KNOW IT.

B.> PAUL SHOWS US THE MYSTERY THAT WILL BE FINISHED AT THE SOUNDING OF THE SEVENTH AND LAST TRUMPET.

(1 Corinthians 15:50-53 KJV) Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. {51} Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, {52} In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. {53} For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

4. > IT IS SILLY TO ARGUE AND DEBATE HOW LONG THE DAY OF THE LORD WILL LAST BECAUSE THE DAY OF THE LORD IS THE BEGINNING OF ETERNITY AND THE END OF TIME AS WE KNOW IT. THE SUN AND THE MOON WILL NO LONGER BE FOR THE PURPOSE OF TELLING TIME AND GIVING LIGHT LIKE THEY ARE NOW.

(Revelation 21:23-25 KJV) And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. {24} And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. {25} And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

5. > THE BIBLE TEACHES THAT NOT ONLY WILL THE SUN BE TURNED INTO DARKNESS AND THE MOON INTO BLOOD BEFORE THE DAY OF THE LORD, BUT THAT THEY WILL CONTINUE TO BE CONFOUNDED AFTER THE JUDGEMENT OF GOD FALLS.

(Isaiah 24:1 KJV) Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.

(Isaiah 24:17-23 KJV) Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth. {18} And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake. {19} The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. {20} The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. {21} And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth. {22} And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited. {23} Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

6. > GOD WILL BE TRUE TO THIS PROMISE TO NOAH BECAUSE HE WILL MELT THIS PRESENT HEAVENS AND EARTH BEFORE HE DOES AWAY WITH TIME AS WE KNOW IT.

(2 Peter 3:10-13 KJV) But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. {11} Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, {12} Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? {13} Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

> WHEN JESUS RETURNS LIKE A THIEF ON THE DAY OF THE LORD, IT OBVIOUSLY WON'T BE SILENT OR SECRET.

7. > NO ONE KNOWS THE DAY OR THE HOUR OF THE DAY OF THE LORD AND THE RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST.

(Matthew 24:36 KJV) But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

8. > THE DAY OF THE LORD CAN'T TAKE PLACE WITHOUT EVERYONE KNOWING ABOUT IT BECAUSE GOD WILL DO A MIRACLE IN THE SUN AND THE MOON BEFORE THE RETURN OF JESUS ON THE DAY OF THE LORD.

(Joel 2:28-32 KJV) And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: {29} And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. {30} And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. {31} The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. {32} And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

(Acts 2:15-21 KJV) For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. {16} But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; {17} And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: {18} And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: {19} And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: {20} The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: {21} And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

9. > JESUS TOLD US THAT WHEN WE SEE THIS MIRACLE IN THE SUN AND MOON WE NEED TO LIFT UP OUR HEADS BECAUSE OUR REDEMPTION DRAWETH NIGH.

(Luke 21:25-28 KJV) And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; {26} Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. {27} And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. {28} And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

10. > THE DAY OF THE LORD AND THE RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST CANNOT TAKE PLACE UNTIL AFTER THE GREAT TRIBULATION.

(Matthew 24:29-30 KJV) Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: {30} And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

11. > EVERYONE ON EARTH SAVED AND UNSAVED WILL KNOW IT WHEN IT HAPPENS, IT WILL NOT BE A SECRET.

(Matthew 24:27 KJV) For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

(Revelation 1:7 KJV) Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

12. > THE COMING OF JESUS TO CATCH UP THE CHURCH WILL BE VERY NOISY.

(1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 KJV) For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. {16} For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: {17} Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. {18} Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

13. > THE BIBLE COMPARES THE DAY OF THE LORD AND THE RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST TO THE COMING OF A THIEF. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT CHRISTIANS CANNOT BE PREPARED FOR IT BUT IT MEANS THAT IT WILL BE A DAY OF DESTRUCTION FOR ALL WHO ARE NOT READY.

(Matthew 24:42-51 KJV) Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. {43} But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. {44} Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. {45} Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? {46} Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. {47} Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. {48} But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; {49} And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; {50} The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, {51} And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

(Luke 12:35-40 KJV) Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning; {36} And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. {37} Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. {38} And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. {39} And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. {40} Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

(Revelation 3:3 KJV) Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

(Revelation 16:15 KJV) Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

(2 Timothy 4:8 KJV) Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

(1 Thessalonians 5:1-4 KJV) But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. {2} For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. {3} For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. {4} But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

14. > THE DAY OF THE LORD WILL BE A DAY OF JUDGEMENT UPON A GROUP OF RELIGIOUS PEOPLE WHO WERE TEACHING THAT IT WOULD BE A GOOD DAY FOR THEM.

(Amos 5:18-23 KJV) Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light. {19} As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. {20} Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it? {21} I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies. {22} Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts. {23} Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.

15. > THIS PRESENT HEAVENS AND EARTH WILL BE DESTROYED THE MOMENT THAT JESUS TAKES HIS SEAT UPON THE GREAT WHIT THRONE TO JUDGE THE WORLD IN RIGHTEOUSNESS.

(Revelation 20:11-15 KJV) And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. {12} And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. {13} And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. {14} And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. {15} And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

16. > IT WILL BE THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST BECAUSE HE WILL BE SEATED UPON THE THRONE.

(2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

17. > EVERY KNEE SAVED AND UNSAVED WILL BOW THERE.

(Romans 14:10-13 KJV) But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. {11} For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. {12} So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. {13} Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

18. > THE RIGHTEOUS AND THE WICKED WILL BE RESURRECTED TO STAND BEFORE THE GREAT WHITE THRONE AND BE JUDGED BY THEIR WORKS.

(John 5:27-29 KJV) And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. {28} Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, {29} And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

(Mark 14:62 KJV) And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

(Daniel 12:1-2 KJV) And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. {2} And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

(Acts 24:14-15 KJV) But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets: {15} And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

19. >

(Matthew 25:31-46 KJV) When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: {32} And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: {33} And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. {34} Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: {35} For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: {36} Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. {37} Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? {38} When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? {39} Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? {40} And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. {41} Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: {42} For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: {43} I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. {44} Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? {45} Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. {46} And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

> THIS JUDGEMENT IS THE SAME AS THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT AND THE JUDGEMENT SEAT OF CHRIST. THE SHEEP AND THE GOATS FROM ALL NATIONS, INCLUDING ISRAEL, (25:32) WILL BE REWARDED ACCORDING TO THEIR WORKS. THIS CANNOT BE THE JUDGEMENT OF THE LIVING AS SOME TEACH BECAUSE FLESH AND BLOOD CANNOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

(Matthew 25:34 KJV) Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

(1 Corinthians 15:50 KJV) Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

> AFTER BEING JUDGED FOR THEIR WORKS THE GOATS WILL GO INTO ETERNAL PUNISHMENT AND THE SHEEP INTO ETERNAL LIFE. THE REWARD WILL NOT BE ENTERING AN EARTHLY KINGDOM IN A PHYSICAL BODY AS SOME TEACH.

(Matthew 25:46 KJV) And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

20. > THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON WILL BE RAGING WHEN JESUS RETURNS TO DESTROY THEM ON THE DAY OF THE LORD.

(Joel 3:9-16 KJV) Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: {10} Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong. {11} Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD. {12} Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about. {13} Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great. {14} Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. {15} The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining. {16} The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.

(Revelation 16:14-21 KJV) For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. {15} Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. {16} And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. {17} And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. {18} And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. {19} And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. {20} And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. {21} And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

(Revelation 19:11-21 KJV) And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. {12} His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. {13} And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. {14} And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. {15} And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. {16} And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. {17} And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; {18} That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. {19} And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. {20} And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. {21} And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

(Zechariah 14:1-4 KJV) Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. {2} For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. {3} Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. {4} And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

(Isaiah 34:1-6 KJV) Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it. {2} For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter. {3} Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood. {4} And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree. {5} For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment. {6} The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.

21. > THE APOSTLE PAUL USED THE FOLLOWING TERMS TO SHOW THAT THE DAY OF THE LORD WOULD BE JESUS DAY. HE ALSO PLAINLY TAUGHT THAT THE ANTICHRIST WOULD BE REVEALED BEFORE THE DAY OF CHRIST. THIS OF COURSE IS OBVIOUS BECAUSE THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON WILL BE GOING ON WHEN HE RETURNS.

(1 Corinthians 1:7-8 KJV) So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: {8} Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

(2 Corinthians 1:14 KJV) As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.

(Philippians 1:6 KJV) Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

(Philippians 1:10 KJV) That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;

(2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 KJV) Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, {2} That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. {3} Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

(2 Thessalonians 2:8 KJV) And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

> THIS SCRIPTURE SHOWS THAT THE DAY OF CHRIST IS WHEN JESUS WILL RETURN TO DESTROY THE ANTI-CHRIST AS DO ALL OF THE ABOVE SCRIPTURES.

22. > THE DAY OF THE LORD WILL BE A DAY OF JUDGEMENT.

(Isaiah 13:9-13 KJV) Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. {10} For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. {11} And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. {12} I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. {13} Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

(Hebrews 12:25-29 KJV) See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: {26} Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. {27} And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. {28} Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: {29} For our God is a consuming fire.

(Zephaniah 1:14-18 KJV) The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. {15} That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, {16} A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers. {17} And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. {18} Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

(2 Peter 2:9 KJV) The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

(1 John 4:17 KJV) Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

(Job 21:30 KJV) That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath.

(Ezekiel 32:5-9 KJV) And I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with thy height. {6} I will also water with thy blood the land wherein thou swimmest, even to the mountains; and the rivers shall be full of thee. {7} And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light. {8} All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD. {9} I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring thy destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not known.

(Jeremiah 46:10 KJV) For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.

23. > JESUS TAUGHT THAT THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT WAS THE LAST DAY.

(John 12:48 KJV) He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

(Acts 17:30-31 KJV) And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: {31} Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

(Matthew 7:21-23 KJV) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. {22} Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? {23} And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

(Romans 2:16 KJV) In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

(1 Corinthians 3:11-15 KJV) For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. {12} Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; {13} Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. {14} If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. {15} If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

24. > JESUS SAID THAT THIS JUDGEMENT WOULD TAKE PLACE WHEN HE RETURNED.

(Revelation 22:13 KJV) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

25. > JESUS TAUGHT THAT THE RESURRECTION AND THE JUDGEMENT WOULD TAKE PLACE ON THE LAST DAY, NOT SEVEN YEARS BEFORE THE LAST DAY.

(John 6:39-40 KJV) And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. {40} And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

(John 6:44 KJV) No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

(John 6:54 KJV) Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

(John 11:24 KJV) Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

26. > WHEN JESUS RETURNS ON THE DAY OF THE LORD HE WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY THE SOULS OF THE DEAD CHRISTIANS THAT HE WILL REUNITE WITH THEIR RESURRECTED BODIES. HE WILL ALSO BE ACCOMPANIED BY THE HOLY ANGELS IN THE ARMY OF GOD.

(1 Thessalonians 4:14 KJV) For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

(Matthew 16:27 KJV) For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

(Matthew 25:31 KJV) When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

(Jude 1:14-15 KJV) And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, {15} To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

(Revelation 19:11-14 KJV) And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

(1 Thessalonians 3:13 KJV) To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

(Zechariah 14:5 KJV) And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

27. > WHY THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST AND NOT TWO AS MANY TEACH. WHEN JESUS LEAVES THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER TO RETURN TO EARTH HE WILL THEN RESTORE ALL THINGS, HE WILL NOT DO IT IN TWO STAGES.

(Acts 3:21 KJV) Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

(Acts 2:34-35 KJV) For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, {35} Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

(Psalms 110:1 KJV) A Psalm of David. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

> JESUS APPEARED ON EARTH BORN OF A WOMAN IN BETHLEHEM. TO THOSE THAT LOOK FOR HIM HE WILL APPEAR THE SECOND TIME.

(Hebrews 9:28 KJV) So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

(Titus 2:13 KJV) Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

(1 Peter 1:13 KJV) Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

> IF WE BELIEVE JESUS' WORDS WE CANNOT TEACH THAT THERE WILL BE A SEPARATION OF THE RIGHTEOUS FROM THE WICKED SEVEN YEARS BEFORE THE END OF THIS WORLD.

(Matthew 13:24-30 KJV) Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: {25} But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. {26} But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. {27} So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? {28} He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? {29} But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. {30} Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

(Matthew 13:36-43 KJV) Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. {37} He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; {38} The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; {39} The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. {40} As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. {41} The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; {42} And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. {43} Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

28. > WHEN THE BIBLE SPEAKS ABOUT THE COMING OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IT ALWAYS WITH NO EXCEPTIONS USES THE SINGULAR.

(James 5:7 KJV) Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

29. > IT IS THE CLEAR TEACHING OF SCRIPTURE THAT THE WICKED ARE THE ONES THAT ARE GOING TO BE REMOVED NOT THE RIGHTEOUS. THE RIGHTEOUS WILL REMAIN TO INHERIT THE NEW HEAVENS AND THE NEW EARTH AND NEW JERUSALEM.

(John 17:15 KJV) I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

(Psalms 23:4-5 KJV) Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. {5} Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

(Matthew 5:5 KJV) Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

(Psalms 125:1 KJV) A Song of degrees. They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

(Proverbs 2:21-22 KJV) For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it. {22} But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.

(Proverbs 10:30 KJV) The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.

(Psalms 101:8 KJV) I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD.

(Psalms 37:9-11 KJV) For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. {10} For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. {11} But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

(Psalms 37:29 KJV) The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.

(Psalms 37:34 KJV) Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

(Psalms 52:1-6 KJV) To the chief Musician, Maschil, A Psalm of David, when Doeg the Edomite came and told Saul, and said unto him, David is come to the house of Ahimelech. Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually. {2} Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully. {3} Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah. {4} Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue. {5} God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah. {6} The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:

(Matthew 13:47-50 KJV) Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: {48} Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. {49} So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, {50} And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

> JESUS AND ALL OF SCRIPTURE TEACHES THAT IT IS THE WICKED THAT WILL BE SEVERED FROM THE MIDST OF THE JUST. IT IS PURELY THE TEACHING OF MEN AND NO SCRIPTURE CAN BE PRODUCED TO SHOW THE RIGHTEOUS BEING REMOVED WITH THE WICKED REMAINING. JESUS WILL GATHER FIRST THE TARES OFF OF THE THIS EARTH.

30. > THE DELIVERANCE OF GOD'S PEOPLE AND THE JUDGEMENT OF THE WICKED WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE SAME DAY.

(Luke 17:26-30 KJV) And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. {27} They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. {28} Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; {29} But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. {30} Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

> JESUS USED NOAH'S ENTERING THE ARK AND LOT'S LEAVING SODOM TO REPRESENT HIS RETURN TO GATHER THE CHURCH WHEN HE DESTROYS THE WICKED. THE WICKED WERE DESTROYED THE SAME DAY THAT NOAH ENTERED THE ARK.

(Luke 17:27 KJV) They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

>THE WICKED WERE DESTROYED THE "SAME DAY" THAT LOT WENT OUT OF SODOM.

(Luke 17:29 KJV) But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

> IT WILL HAPPEN THE SAME WAY WHEN JESUS RETURNS TO GATHER THE CHURCH, THE WICKED WILL BE DESTROYED THE SAME DAY.

(Luke 17:30 KJV) Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

31. > IN MALACHI 3:17-4:3 THE PROPHET THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT GIVES US A BEAUTIFUL PICTURE OF THE DELIVERANCE OF THE RIGHTEOUS AND THE JUDGEMENT OF THE WICKED ON THE SAME DAY.

(Malachi 3:17-18 KJV) And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. {18} Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

(Malachi 4:1-3 KJV) For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. {2} But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. {3} And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

(2 Thessalonians 1:6-10 KJV) Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; {7} And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, {8} In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: {9} Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; {10} When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

32. (Matthew 24:40-42 KJV) Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. {41} Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. {42} Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

> DO THESE VERSES TEACH A PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE AS MANY SAY THEY DO? READ THE PASSAGE IN CONTEXT.

(Matthew 24:37-42 KJV) But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. {38} For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, {39} And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. {40} Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. {41} Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. {42} Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

> JESUS IS COMPARING THE WICKED BEING REMOVED ON THE DAY OF THE LORD TO THE DESTRUCTION OF THE WICKED BY THE FLOOD IN NOAH'S DAY.

(Luke 17:26-37 KJV) And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. {31} In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. {32} Remember Lot's wife. {33} Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. {34} I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. {35} Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. {36} Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. {37} And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

(Revelation 19:17-21 KJV) And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; {18} That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

33. > WHO ARE THE ELECT IN THE NEW TESTAMENT?

(Romans 8:33 KJV) Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

(Colossians 3:12-13 KJV) Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; {13} Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

(Titus 1:1 KJV) Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;

(1 Thessalonians 1:4 KJV) Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.

(1 Peter 5:13 KJV) The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son.

34. > PEOPLE WHO TEACH A RAPTURE BEFOR THE GREAT TRIBULATION SAY THAT THE ELECT IN MATTHEW 24 REFERS TO JEWS AND NOT CHRISTIANS. IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE ELECT AT THE TIME OF CHRIST'S RETURN TO REFER TO THE JEWS INSTEAD OF THE CHRISTIANS. IT IS ALSO IMPOSSIBLE FOR JEWISH CHRISTIANS TO BE "MORE ELECT" THAN GENTILE CHRISTIANS.

(Galatians 3:28 KJV) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

> TWO ELECT GROUPS DO NOT EXIST, ONLY ONE - THE CHURCH!

(1 Corinthians 12:12-13 KJV) For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. {13} For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

(Ephesians 2:11-16 KJV) Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; {12} That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: {13} But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. {14} For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; {15} Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; {16} And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

(Galatians 3:7 KJV) Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

(Galatians 3:16 KJV) Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

(Galatians 3:29 KJV) And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

(Romans 2:28-29 KJV) For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: {29} But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

35, > A COMPARISON OF THE FOLLOWING SCRIPTURE PASSAGES SHOW THAT THE ELECT IN MATTHEW 24 ARE CHRISTIANS.

(Matthew 24:22 KJV) And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

(Luke 18:7-8 KJV) And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? {8} I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

(Matthew 24:24 KJV) For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

(2 Thessalonians 2:9-10 KJV) Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, {10} And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

A comparison of Matt. 24:30-31 with First Thessalonians 4:16-17 suggest unmistakable similarities between the two passaes: the Lord's descending from heaven, the angels, the clouds, the trumpets, and the gathering. Surely, "the elect: of Matt. 24:31 and the "the dead in Christ: and "we which are alive and remain" of First Thessalonians 4:16-17 are the same company of people-the church. (Ken and Agnes MacDonald, THE SECOND COMING-TOUGH QUESTIONS, Berean Publications, p. )

(Matthew 24:30-31 KJV) And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. {31} And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

(1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 KJV) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: {17} Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

36. > IF WE MAKE FURTHER COMPARISON WE CAN SEE THAT REV. 11:15-18 IS DESCRIBING THE SAME EVENT AS MATT. 24:30-31 AND 1 THESS. 4:16-17. JAMES MCKEEVER HAS IDENTIFIED 5 EVENTS THAT TAKE PLACE IN ALL THREE OF THESE PASSAGES.

1. Christ appears in the air

2. There are Loud Voices

3. There is a Trumpet

4. The Dead Christians rise

5. The Alive Christians are caught up.

(Revelation 11:15-18 KJV) And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. {16} And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, {17} Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. {18} And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

In verse 15 of this passage, we see the seventh angel blowing the trumpet. In that same verse, we also see the loud voices. This shout from heaven will join the shout from earth heralding the returning King.....Then a very interesting thing is stated; it says that Jesus Christ begins to reign on the earth as the seventh trumpet blows (verse 17) and the kingdom of the world becomes the kingdom of Christ (verse 15). If Christ is going to come down to the earth and begin to reign, He has to appear in the air. This is the third of the five things that we are looking for at the rapture. In verse 18, we see the dead Christians being judged. They are not going to be judged while they are still in their graves, of course, so there is the resurrection of the dead Christians. We also see that the Lord is going to reward those Christians who are still alive. Also in verse 18, we see the battle of Armageddon, wherein Jesus is going to 'destroy those who destroy the earth'. If the seventh trumpet-the last trumpet in the Bible-had been a plague of grasshoppers or some such thing, this would all fall apart. (Dr. James McKeever, THE RAPTURE BOOK-VICTORY IN THE END TIMES, Omega Publications, p. 91-92)

37. > (1 Corinthians 15:52 KJV) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

> THE BIBLE PLAINLY STATES THAT JESUS WILL GATHER THE CHURCH AND RAISE THE DEAD AT THE LAST TRUMPET. THE BIBLE ALSO PLAINLY STATES THAT SEVEN ANGELS WILL BLOW THEIR TRUMPETS IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION. TO TEACH THAT THE CHURCH WILL BE GATHERED ANY TIME BEFORE THE SEVENTH TRUMPET WOULD BE A PLAIN CONTRADICTION OF SCRIPTURE.

38. > DID JOHN THE BAPTIST FULFILL THIS PROPHECY?

(Malachi 4:5-6 KJV) Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: {6} And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

(Luke 1:16-17 KJV) And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. {17} And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

> JOHN THE BAPTIST'S MINISTRY WAS NOT A FAILURE. HE WAS TO GO BEFORE JESUS AND MAKE READY A PEOPLE PREPARED FOR THE LORD. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT JOHN DID.

(Matthew 17:10-13 KJV) And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? {11} And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. {12} But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. {13} Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

(Mark 9:12-13 KJV) And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought. {13} But I say unto you, That Elias is indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him.

> IF WORDS HAVE ANY MEANING, JESUS TAUGHT THAT ELIJAH HAD COME IN THE PERSON OF JOHN THE BAPTIST TO FULFILL THE PROPHECY IN MALACHI. JOHN HAD COME TO PREPARE PEOPLES HEARTS FOR THE SPIRITUAL KINGDOM TO BE SET UP ON CALVARY, NOT FOR SOME EARTHLY JEWISH KINGDOM.

(John 6:15 KJV) When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

(John 18:36 KJV) Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

39. (Matthew 11:14-15 KJV) And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come. {15} He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

He speaks of it as a truth, which would not be easily apprehended by those whose expectations fastened upon the temporal kingdom of the Messiah,...Christ suspects the welcome of it, if ye will receive it. Not but that it was true, whether they would receive it or not, but he upbraids them with their prejudices, that they were backward to receive the greatest truths that were opposed to their sentiments... Or, 'If you will receive him, or if you will receive the ministry of John as that of the promised Elias, he will be an Elias to you, to turn you and prepare you for the Lord'....Christ is a savior and John an Elias, to those who will receive the truth concerning them. 40. > IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION THE SEAL JUDGEMENTS, THE VIAL JUDGEMENTS AND THE TRUMPET JUDGEMENTS ARE DESCRIBING OVERLAPPING TIME PERIODS. IT IS EASY TO SEE THAT THE 6TH SEAL, THE 7TH VIAL AND THE SEVENTH TRUMPET WILL ALL HAPPEN VERY CLOSE TOGETHER.

(Revelation 6:12-17 KJV) And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; {13} And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. {14} And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. {15} And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; {16} And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: {17} For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

(Revelation 16:15-21 KJV) Behold, I come as a thief.

41. > HERE IS A GLIMPSE OF GOD'S ARMY ON THE DAY OF THE LORD.

(Joel 2:1-18 KJV) Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; {2} A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. {3} A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. {4} The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. {5} Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. {6} Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness. {7} They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: {8} Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. {9} They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief. {10} The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: {11} And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it? {12} Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: {13} And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil. {14} Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God? {15} Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: {16} Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. {17} Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God? {18} Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.

42. > GOD WILL PROTECT HIS PEOPLE ON THE DAY OF THE LORD.

(Isaiah 26:19-21 KJV) Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. {20} Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. {21} For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

(Nahum 1:5-7 KJV) The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein. {6} Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him. {7} The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

(Isaiah 43:2 KJV) When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

(Psalms 46 KJV) To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. {2} Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; {3} Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. {4} There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. {5} God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. {6} The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. {7} The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. {8} Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. {9} He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. {10} Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. {11} The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

(Zephaniah 2:2-3 KJV) Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you. {3} Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.

(1 Thessalonians 1:10 KJV) And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

(1 Thessalonians 5:9 KJV) For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

(Matthew 3:7 KJV) But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

(Revelation 3:10 KJV) Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

(Luke 21:36 KJV) Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
